SIMPLE RULES

While you are familiar with countless procedural rules from court proceedings, including the Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO), the Labor Court Act (ArbGG) and the Administrative Court Code (VwGO), each with countless paragraphs, in mediation we limit ourselves to a very manageable set of rules, the so-called principles of mediation.

This allows us to concentrate - simply - on the essentials.

WHICH RULES ARE RELEVANT?

ALL-PARTIALITY

As an independent mediator, the mediator ensures that each party is heard and that each side can put forward its interests and solution options calmly. The all-partiality of a mediator goes beyond simple neutrality. You and your counterpart can trust the mediator.

FREE WILL

All participants have the right to terminate the mediation at any time of their own free will. The voluntary nature of the process ensures that mediation is based on the “free will” of each participant. This means that the success of the conflict resolution is particularly sustainable.
